The Foundation of 5e Gallery’s 3 Year Anniversary
On Tuesday, May 8, 2012 The Foundation of 5e Gallery celebrated it’s 3 year anniversary with a special all women lineup of some of some of the best female artists Detroit has to offer. Held at The Old Miami, the night featured performances from Invincible, Miz Korona, Insite the Riot, Venus Sky, Keys, Britney Stoney, Atoms and Ease, Original Cyndy, Jade Lathan and many more, including regular hosts Mahogany Jones and Nik Nak.
The evening also marked the return of Yin, the all women band that was the original house band for the weekly showcase. The Foundation of 5e Gallery is a leading event celebrating the contribution of women in Hip Hop, established at the Detroit art gallery by co-founders Piper Carter, Invincible and Miz Korona.
